I would say that life has no way to turn against you. That is why I have decided to not blame others or external factors for my challenges and difficult circumstances. The road I have chosen to go down is built by my own choices along the way.
Also, who said it was easy growing up, learning from mistakes and tenacity despite failure. Hardship makes a person handle incidents better the next time when encountering demanding situations.
I am not a psychotherapeutic, however I have noticed that both negative and positive thoughts incur in our mind at different times. This means that we involuntarily experience both positive and negative thoughts. However, I believe that we can affect the amount of positive and negative thoughts by making choices. To choose enthusiasm, curiosity, self-realization, logic and spirit can take your mind on trips one never would have dreamed about.
We have got to learn that the potential lies within ourselves. Positive physical outcomes are the result of positive mental choices that encourage and initiate further individual prosperity.
