Momentum

After sleeping through the alarmclock, rushing back and forth to the gym, a quick run throgh the shower and facepaintingstation, I was finally ready for a new Sprekenhus-meeting, discussing the facets of Beauty & Creativity. I love the atmosphere at our usual meetingplace, which is filled with both pretty and edgy interior such as buddahstatues, crystalchandeliers and hardcore speakers hanging from the ceiling. With the loungemusic and the mouthorgasm of a lunchmenu, this counts as one of my absolute favourite places in the UK. I always leave this place filled with new impulses and idéas, and today was no exception. I’m gonna spend the evening drawing sketches and start preparing my closet for spring.

Exclusive report from Karl Lagerfeld NET-A-PORTER collection release in London

KARL LAGERFELD LAUNCH @ COVENT GARDEN
Today Alexander and I went to the launch of Karl Lagerfeld’s newest collection. We were ready to get Karlified! After months of anticipation, Karl Lagerfeld`s new collection landed on NET-A-PORTER, and to check it out we went to Covent Garden to see how the collars were hanging at the launch.
Being introduced to the KARL TEAM we received goodiebags and explanations of how the new digital order system works. The digital shops are based on taking pictures of a projected image of the styles, and buying it straight through the app just by snapping a shot. People were lining up to snap and shop whilst NET-A-PORTERs own vans handed out warm coffee to people of anticipation in the ques. As I wore a strictly Karlified outfit I was interviewed by NET-A-PORTERs own camera team, Thealist.com, TheLondonFashionHunter and Grazia Daily.
We were impressed by their digitalized way of shopping and we would like you to enjoy our pictures from the day.

Caffeine

Finally I’m back in London, where the newest Miu Miu magazine was waiting for me. The summer collection is so pretty filled with bright colors and pastels. Tonigh I’m having starbucks, redbull and magazines for dinner whilst catching up on some work before I’m meeting with some friends later on!

In my bag: A night out in London

Whenever going out in London, I get inspired by the culture, nightlife and the powercapital itself. I always end up being spontanious and changing my plans during the night. Recently I’ve basically decided to bring my whole life in a bag. It’s kind of like a survival kit carrying the essentials for a long night out on the town.
Bag: Miu Miu (perfect size for a night out)
Flats (Topshop) are absolutely necessary, especially if you’re wearing new heels. I always bring my old-fashion agenda, mainly because I bring my schedules everywhere. Wallet from Acne, and shampoo/conditioner samples from Alexander Sprekenhus (I never know when they’ll come in handy).
Essentials for the day after: Make-up removal wipes, deodorant, a baby listerine and alka-seltzer. (If you haven’t tried alka-seltzer yet, I probably changed your life right this second.) Camera from Olympus, and toiletary pouch from Louis Vuitton.
My favourite nail-polish these days from chanel (525 QUARTZ), blisterplasters and Alexander Sprekenhus Hair Styling Elixir which makes your hair look like you weren’t even out (if not, I would put on my shades as well).
